It’s nothing to do with money. It’s to keep the competition going. If they didn’t have the playoffs then the season would be over for a big chunk of teams after about half of the games. The playoffs give some teams (like Wednesday this season for example) something to play for.

I think teams are penalised for performing better. A team in third place maybe wins five games more than a team in sixth and doesn’t go up? I’m not going to bore people any more about the subject but I just find it unfair.

I’d bring back Ched. It’s a lower league where he’s knocking them in but his confidence must be sky high at the minute. Nothing to lose in bringing him back in my book.

Yeah, fair do’s. Absolutely no reason not to bring him back and at least see him in training. Hopefully Billy will be alright, but we’ve been caught out striker wise in enough play off attempts, so lets consider every option available to us.

I can understand your view but if you wanted to make it completely fair then you’d just have top 3 go up, no play offs at all. That would make the competition very dull for a whole lot of teams though.
