Providing we get there.. how much should i save till then, to have enough to spend the weekend in london, go to the game & celebrate IF (im sure we will :P) win..

Thanks all x x

When me and my dad went to the play off final at the Millenium stadium we spent about £100 which included tickets and the coach and that was just for the day! :)

Cheapest tickets at Wembley are £35 afaik... then there's travel which varies in price depending on how you get there but train tickets are cheapest a month in advance, which you aren't going to get, and then you'll be lucky to get a hotel room for less than £80 on short notice.

A lot being the answer.

Jason mi owd.............. the cost of goin will be a lot.............the cost of not goin will be a lot more.

you could book the hotel now then if you lose in the semi sell the deposit and details of your booking ie name its booked under to the a fan of the club you lost ot on ebay or put a post on their forum . you would get your money back im sure
is play off final day still on bank holiday weekend if it is public transport will be a nightmare and everyone will be wonting to stay over

last year for the cup semi i went on the train £55 for train ticket and the same for the match ticket
i spent £100 ish on the day on just food drink and tube tickets but i came back on the 10 o'clock train so it was a long day

i got my program and pin badge from the fa website it came the day before the game as i paid first class postage it came in a cardboard sleeve and is still in mint con it cost a quid or two more but it was worth it

Gonna miss the semi home leg (if we get there) just incase money is needed for the final. The good thing is that petrol isn't a lot from Ipswich.

Your either going to be drinking a lot to celebrate or drinking a lot to drown your sorrows.

So, save a fair bit:p

Owt upto £100 quid for ticket, £100 to £150 to spend on beer and food, £30 travelling expenses.
Seeing the Blades promoted--- PRICELESS;)

~£100 for hotel too.

So you're talking the price of a fortnight's package holiday :)

just been looking into it with the option of booking now in advance, the Quality (Thats the name not my opinion) hotel wembley has vacancies for £135 double room, and £125 double room (Single occupancy).

there are cheaper alternatives, however these are further afield. There is an Etap in hounslow, but thats uite a distance away from the ground. Depends on transport links to there

just some info for the potential traveller
