So, a 90 + 10 match would end at 7.30pm. Extra time = gone 8pm. Pens is moving towards 8.30pm. Not sure what time the last trains are, but that is madness.

Gerrit fucking announced. Who's in charge of this decision to delay the announcement?

I've never been to Wembley and whilst I would have preferred to get a train down, if they're already looking sold out/unavailable for the return I'll just drive down on my own. For those that have driven to Wembley or driven south and got the tube in, do you have any advice on where best to drive to, park, tube in etc? Any tips or tricks very much welcome!

There are currently rooms at the Premier Inn in High Wycombe for £80. Parking bang next door, 30 mins on train to Wembley Stadium station

For Sky and any other broadcaster wanting in you have the money spinner of the Championship play off on Saturday, plus 10 games on the Sunday all kicking off at 4pm in the Premier League in the final round. I can see why we wouldn't do Sunday and definitely glad it isn't a Monday. I guess worst case is a hotel for the night.

The FA Cup final time wasn't announced until about the same time in advance

I don't normally moan about Sky and kick off times as much, because I'm an enforced armchair fan most of the time.

But 5:30pm for absolutely no reason would be an absolute joke. No trains for any northern fans... even Coventry fans' last train would be at 8:29pm.

Never forget Liverpool's uefa cup final kicked off at 8.15pm because EastEnders was finishing the who shot Phil Mitchell storyline and the BBC asked for a delay!

If it’s 5:30 Kick off loads can’t get home trains will be unavailable especially if it goes to extra time. 2pm 3pm or 4pm would be okay with most but if it’s 5:30 it’s ridiculous

5:30 means more bar spend more hotel spend for wembley area all in collusion
