It always strikes me as being quite illogical ' If it's 1am, 2am, 3am etc, it must follow that 12am is midday. Maybe 12am should be 0am

I can't help but feel that, behind the scenes, both clubs are fighting their corners asking for a sensible kick-off time.

Have they ever taken into account distance of travel for any supporters? This ko time should have been locked in weeks ago- time will be determined by Sky for their own reasons_ will be nothing to do with clubs fighting their corners

Most of the trains I looked at from Doncaster started after Newcastle so I’m hoping there won’t be too many Sunderland fans on them.

It will be packed with Sunderland supporters getting on at Newcastle. Hull trains are very doubtful. Sunderland supporters again.
The only other option is Sheffield to Manchester, then train to London via Birmingham, and get off at Watford Junction. Then the train to Wembley Central.
Another option is to go by coach. Either the coach, you can book on the Blades website. You can go on a coach from Pond Street or Meadowhall.
If you can afford it, go down on Friday and return on Monday. If you're going by car, Watford Junction car parks are nearby. Best to look on the internet and book in advance as soon as you can. Or park on the outskirts of London near a tube station.UTB

'Within the coming days' - I would have thought within the next 24 hours is the minimum - it should have been decided before the semis and announced immediately the finalists were known

Yes, I'd have thought a Cross Country train to New St then switch to a London train would be easier.
