I think this is partly the reason so many fans have turned against Blackwell. Obviously it's also down to team performances aswell but it doesn't help when the manager publiclly says he's taken the club as far as possible. What does that tell you, to me it shows a lack of ambition to push on from that point and attain better things in the future.

However on a slight upside it was nice to see a bit of spirit from the players today rather than accepting defeat like at scunny and Blackpool

Agree Bakewell, how are the players & fans supposed to respond to a leader of the team saying he has no confidence in himself to take the team further? It's a sign of weakness!

I'm all for stability and don't think chopping and changing managers does any good for the clubs that do however, I think KB did himself no favours at all with those comments, heat of the moment or not.
