There did seem to be an issue with the sprinklers at half time. Less sprinkling, more gushing (which is a great movie BTW), but I doubt it contributed.

I think I once read something about the Desso Grassmaster requiring 4 times more water than a traditional pitch. Seems a bit inefficient if that's the case.

I did the tour a few years back and learned that there is a well near the Shoreham Street / South Stand corner "as deep as the Eiffel Tower is tall" apparently, and much of the water used on the pitch comes from it. If you need any more nerdy stuff you know where I am.
