Right, let's get a few things cleared up here. Five of us were sat three rows back to the left of the 3 lads who got kicked out of the west stand after the equaliser. They didn't really do fuck all apart from hug each other and the a bunch of your billy big bollocks started having a pop at them leading to the steward asking them to leave. On their way out plenty of your big brave lads started launching at them. I didn't hear any other chanting through the game.

Moving on everyone around us new we were blades, we didn't celebrate and we received warm congratulations and a few man hugs from Northampton fans on the final whistle. I used to live in Northampton and it's close to my heart. My mate got us the tickets and we had a night out with his lads after the game.

Hope this takes some of that sour taste away, and I hope you can forgive 3 lads for hugging each other

I was sat in that part too but sat separately so could watch and there was no posturing, posing or being a big man. The Blades I knew in that area are very capable of defending themselves, but they were not being aggressive at all. As described they walked out towards the tunnel, not making any sound or being lairy at all. They stood to celebrate the goal as did I, as it was so hard not to, but there was no posturing. They're well past that to be honest.

If it was standing up that wound up the Northampton massive to the extent that they want to throw a few poorly executed barn swingers then that's a bit sad in 2017.

Now if I'd dug up the pitch, broke your crossbar or urinated on the centre spot I could see the point of the cobbler talking cobblers, But really come on has the honour of Northampton been so besmirched?

Shame really as some great boozers in town, lovely weather, friendly people, decent amount of taxis and a shared love of one Chris Wilder!

What an amazing day. The Blades fans shouldnt have been in the home end, we all know that. Fortunately the vast majority were well behaved and respected our hosts, who from what I've seen appeared to be hospitable and understanding of the situation. Unfortuanately every team has its minoity of idiots, who don't know how to behave after a shandy or two. Well done to NTFC 2017 for highlighting the fact that Northampton also have some fans who clearly lack the intelligence or grace to be trusted to behave around others, whilst your two fellow fans (Cob and NTFC) have been respectful. Clearly the sort of neaderthal that brags about 'slapping' somebody, can't count past two and is still to grasp the English language represents the minority of fans that all clubs have, and are ashamed of.

Speaking of trouble, I love how on professional broadcasts, whenever there is trouble (or a pitch invader), the camera cuts away and some po-faced commentator says 'we don't want to see this sort of thing'. At the beam back yesterday, the camera swung across two thirds of the pitch to show a little ruckus in the stands!

Was a shame to see it kicking off in the home end. Credit to the Northampton fans though for staying after the game, there were even some applauding the Blades fans as we were walking of and out of the ground. Fair play to the police and stewards aswell for just allowing us to get on with it.

I did get a snidey comment as I walked towards the away end before the game. There were long queues at one of their entrances, so I said excuse me please and went through the middle of the line. The guy that let me through, said 'That's all you'll get today, you won't be going up.' Possibly not today, I replied, but be assured, we ARE going up this season,' 'Wednesday are a much bigger team than you 'was his response. 'That's as maybe, I don't agree and I wouldn't swap with them for a million pounds.' As I walked away. Pathetic. Wish I'd seen him after the game.
Oh and another 'fan' we were coming out of Pizza Hut and I asked a Cobbler, with three kids, all in the strip, if I could get out of the complex by turning left rather than towards all the traffic leaving the ground. No idea mate, it's the first time I've ever been. Come to see United, you've only come to see United.

We were sat in the posh seats, and one of the Northampton fans sat to the left of us got kicked out. He was swearing something chronic with kids sat around him, every ref decision was "biased" and he got right in our faces when they scored. McCabe and Todd were ready to kick him in! Don't know what we did to upset him as we were being dead quiet. Weren't so quiet when we equalised just because he was being a bell end. He got more wound up and stewards asked him to bugger off.

First of congratulations on achieving promotion yesterday. I was hoping that you lot would go up once it was confirmed that CW was returning 'home'.

I thought yeasterday was great...........apart from being pee'd off that we lost the game in the dying minutes.

As for the pitch invasion, had no problem with it myself as Blades fans seemed more intent on celebrating rather than giving it the big one to those in the home stands. It was our turn last season yours this and as football fans these are the moments we live for and have to make the most of.

I thought yeasterday was great...........apart from being pee'd off that we lost the game in the dying minutes.

As for the pitch invasion, had no problem with it myself as Blades fans seemed more intent on celebrating rather than giving it the big one to those in the home stands. It was our turn last season yours this and as football fans these are the moments we live for and have to make the most of.

Some Blades fans took the piss today. Goading home fans, singing Blades songs in home areas etc. Leaves a sour taste in the mouth, after what was a pretty generous reception from the home ends.

We were sat in the posh seats, and one of the Northampton fans sat to the left of us got kicked out. He was swearing something chronic with kids sat around him, every ref decision was "biased" and he got right in our faces when they scored. McCabe and Todd were ready to kick him in! Don't know what we did to upset him as we were being dead quiet. Weren't so quiet when we equalised just because he was being a bell end. He got more wound up and stewards asked him to bugger off.

I was sat just to the right of the posh seats. I followed the decorum of "in the home end keep quiet and be sensible". I was sat next to a similar Bellend. Late twenties, sat with his dad and knew very little about the game of football.

The ref had a steady game but this guy insisted at the top of his voice that he was completely inconsistent and berated the lino. At one point he shouted for a red card for Fleck, when no physical contact had happened.

I am a friendly guy and chat to anyone but he wasn't interested in discussing the finer points. One great line was when we got a freekick on the corner of thier box first half. "What's that for ref"? I pointed out the late foul after the ball had gone and got the curt respond "I follow the ball" . I muttered quietly under my breath "just as well the fookin ref doesn't "

When big Leon scored, i did something i have never done in the wrong end and lept out of my seat. I did sit down quickly and didn't take the piss, but i fear my cover was blown.

Knob head then went into overdrive. Constant loud comments about the lack of class our fans were showing, etc etc etc for the rest of the game. I have no interest in being a hard man, so i did show some class by ignoring the pillock. My mates comment was "I am glad you are sat there, because i would have smacked him by now"!

The counter point to this bellend are the many NT fans who wished us well for the future and congratulated us on promotion. I would also point out the warm applause for Knilly and Tufty at the start of the game.

We've just celebrated a fantastic promotion with a set of fans who, by en large, wish us well and to some extent celebrated with us.
