Lenners

Not something to get yer knickers in a twist over. Trying it on is OK but don't cry if you get caught.

I mentioned this in another thread but when we went to watch Plymouth v Wolves and were asked for our address in the ticket office at Plymouth we were surprised that we came up as season ticket holders at SUFC. When questioned how they knew it was explained that the computer checked on some data base held by the police.

As we live in Sheffield I can only assume it must be a national data base in position lawfully.

I'll say it again, I can see the argument for refusing entry but I cannot possibly see how accepting money for a ticket and then refusing a refund well in advance of the game is morally or legally right.
As I understood it, you had to be on the SWFC database to buy a ticket in the first place to get a ticket so I'm struggling to see how anyone's identified.
I simply see it as another example of football fans getting shat on by the authorities and clubs in a way that no other people in society ever would.

If a Blade has bought a ticket in the Wednesday end and paid for it, the Ticket should belong to the Blade, Wednesday can rightly refuse him entry, but the ticket is his, and should not be resold.

Threads merged... you might find the FSF emails in my opening post interesting Lenners.

They don't seem to think it was exactly open and shut and would be interested in hearing from the people it has affected if they will come forwards.

Apologies for the double post, but I have just received another email from the FSF.

They've been chatting to some people ITK and are very interested to hear from anyone this has affected. They would like a chat with any supporter who feels that their details have been passed on against their wishes.

Obviously it might come to nothing. But you don't find out the answer unless you ask the question.
