Sorry if this has been discussed before, I can't see it anywhere - besides I think it deserved it's own thread. I can't believe Sky aren't televising the Pigs game - or are they, and I've missed summat?

Can't see it on any Sky listings anywhere. So, for those of us without a ticket, where/how are you going to watch it? Dodgy stick? With a VPN on SUTV Live? Internet Stream?

Also, why aren't the Club doing a beamback to the Lane? If it's not on tele I'm sure there would be a very high demand for tickets to such an event.

I'm gutted, I was rather hoping to sit in the pub with a beer or 6 watching the Blades stuff some pork. So folks, what's your plans?

I assume a beam back can’t be discussed until the game is fully sold out. As for sky, you’d have thought this fixture would have been pencilled in the day fixtures were published.

For a beam back, would there be any need to negotiate terms with Wednesday? That may well by, as it’d mean dealing with Chancer.

Weirdly it doesn't seem to be on. Possibly as two 1:30pm Prem matches (Sky showing Arsenal v Chelsea). I guess they might shove it on a channel or Sky+ at the last minute.

But I'm sure anyone that has a laptop on an overseas IP address can stream it. Pay Sheffield United a tenner, worst case scenario. HDMI cable into the TV, or web browser on firestick... Or similar set up.

It's on sky sports plus I have virgin TV and it's on.
I wonder why Sky aren't listing it on sky sports plus then? Very strange as every other game on sky sports plus seems to be listed.

Edited, completely misunderstood the question 🤣

Dunno I have literally set it to record perhaps itv might also be showing it and waiting to confirm that as two weeks out the TV listings aren't 100% for a lot of channels

A grand total of five 'derbies' on that Sunday alone.
Are ITV showing anymore EFL matches live?
They only had 2 live games for this season and both have already been played. They put the 2nd of them on ITV4, so hardly making it a priority to show they wanted more...

It's not on the Golazo Sports [CBS USA] listings for that day.

i was saying on shoutbox that ITV are showing the league cup final. so would they take us as there Monthly EFL game & have football between 12.30 - 6pm. i expecting us to be sky sports + at minimum

edit - its not looking good because on PL & main Event, its arsenal V chelsea. Sky sports Football. the old firm derby is kicking off

Where have you got 'their monthly EFL game' from? It was only ever announced that they would be screening 2x EFL games. Both of which have already happened.

its just maths,
Additionally, ITV will simulcast 10 matches from the EFL Championship each full season, and five matches in the second half of the 2024/25 season

they have 5 EFL games this season. so just makes sense that 1 was January, 1 was February. & will be on the Final day. so that leaves 2 Matches March & April

During the FA Cup game last night, ITV were promoting Pompey vs Leeds as being broadcast live by them. It's mentioned in this article from the Pompey website too. Specifically:

"Portsmouth Football Club would like to inform supporters that parking spaces will not be put on sale for the upcoming home match against Leeds.

The Championship fixture on Sunday (12pm kick-off) has been selected for live television coverage by Sky Sports and ITV."

Apparently ITV have 5 live games from the 2nd half of the 24/25 season then 10 games per full season during their new agreement (not exclusive, shown as the same time as sky) - alongside various Carabao cup games.

The initial press-release I'd seen from the EFL only mentioned the first 2 games they showed.

Itv not covering it because they are doing carabao cup that day

I literally have it set to record 12.20 to 2.30pm

If it's on your TV planner, presumably it is live on Sky then. Just very strange it's not mentioned on any website or app in the world 😄 I blame Bettis and South Yorkshire Police.

Bold, baby, bold.

I took a screenshot off the EFL Website last week that had it listed, today it has been removed.

Didnt mention anything else but apparently Portsmouth v Leeds is on ITV.

Knowing Chancer, he'll try to schedule a meeting with The Blades delegation on 17 March to discuss a beam back arrangement. 😒

I should be on holiday but was going to head back a day early so I could get back and watch it in the local.

Be a VPN and stream jobbie if it’s not televised officially.

Celtic Vs Rangers (12:30)
Arsenal vs Chelsea (13:30)
Liverpool vs Newcastle (16:30)
Leicester vs Man Utd (19:00)

All on Sky on March 16.
