I’ll try and stay in bed and pretend it’s not happening but in reality I’ll wake up and end up stressing myself out by watching it.

They only had 2 live games for this season and both have already been played. They put the 2nd of them on ITV4, so hardly making it a priority to show they wanted more...
Leeds at Pompy 12.00 Sunday ITV 1 and Sky Sport

Strange one this.

The answer currently seems to be that as of right now the game won't be on Sky because it hasn't been confirmed by Sky yet.

This means it may or may not be confirmed in the coming days.

But why would they not have already confirmed such a big game that's only 12 days away?

Sky have confirmed games that take place in the week following the Steel City Derby such as Rotherham v Wycombe on Sky Sports+ on the 18th and Notts County v Crewe on Sky Sports Football on the 22nd.

So basically, nobody really knows for sure whether it's on tele, but the general consensus is No.

What really pisses me off is as match attending fans (I get to every home game and average about 8 away games per season) we have to endure Sky dicking around with the fixtures, changing to crazy times and difficult days for travelling etc at the drop of a hat. However, when it comes to a game that relatively few supporters can either get a ticket for or afford to get a ticket and the demand is huge to see the game for Blades fans, it's not being shown.

Don't get me wrong this is not a bigger blade contest, as far as I'm concerned you are a Blade whether you travel the length and breadth of the country or sit watching with squinty eyes on t'tinernet. Oh well, rant over!

I’m guessing ( and hope) that if some sources are saying it’s on whilst others don’t that it’s a red button game without the full studio and commentary team.

Bollocks innit? The fact that it clashes with so many other big games and isn't yet on the official Sky schedule means that bars are reluctant to commit to it. No problem watching the game at home on iptv but this is one I want to see with a bunch of Blades.

General consensus is yes, on Sky+ / Red Button, as it is listed on various guides.

If any Melbourne based blades can be arsed finding out which CBD pubs are showing I'll happily come and meet you. Otherwise it's hooky TV for ME, on the couch with a 6 pack and late McDonalds delivery.

We're at the point now where we have to ask the question - is the match even taking place? Or even, do Sheffield United Football Club and the Pigs actually exist? Big questions.

It's on a new channel. DCTV.
First match is SWFC v SUFC.
Available for £0.00 to all subscribers of DTaxis via the app.
Available as part of a twenty four match subscription for £0.00
but all match subscribers will pay £700 in advance via the DCTV app
to gain app access to the 'Derby' match on 16 March 2025.
The fixture will not be recorded, nor will it have commentary.

BARGAIN.

Didn't there used to be a rule that when an EFL fixture is rearranged from its original date the home club has the option of requesting it to not be shown on TV?

Maybe old Dejphon has spotted an opportunity to flog a few more tickets.
