Mmmmm, just tried counting the number of 30000+ averages they have had in the last 50 years. Must be my eyesight but I don't see any. Also don't they realise the size of the ground is a slight factor.

heh.. you've inadvertently answered your own question . we have two teams.. as well as that they've won the league a couple of times. the FA Cup, been to the European Cup Final.. perhaps it is a generational thing. for people of my age group they were the top team in the 70's.. much as i hate them.
