But it's hardly 'draconian' to ask for 500 Loyalty points.
Anyone who is a genuine supporter will have amassed that meagre amount with no effort at all, leaving only those who want to come to the biggest game of the season struggling.

If we're struggling to sell out against Wednesday when we're top of the league we've got the ticket policy wrong somewhere.
Could have maybe kept it to 500 points (not sure casual fans know what that means anyway) until the end of last week and then allowed season ticket holders to purchase another ticket this week or reduced it to anyone with a purchasing history.

Looking online I've counted 378 empty seats so far, about to look at the Kop.

There may have been sales inbetween and I could have easily miscounted too. Still, 500 or so and only really two areas that aren't single seats only.

I've not counted them all but the online stadium plan shows over 200 in one of the BLUT blocks alone. I've just had another butchers and 600 seems about right. If it sells out at the 500 point policy I'll hold my hands up, although I do understand this has been relaxed slightly and I wouldn't be surprised to see a lower requirement next season if we're in the same division again.

So you have the points so why not go down to the ticket office to buy one or call them to get one and explain the situation. Have you emailed the box office back to advise them of the issue ?

Bit weird, looks like most of the remaining tickets have been sold since lunchtime.
Was over 500 at lunch, now looks like less than 100 left. Suspect we’ve just made some seats temporarily unavailable .
It’s an old sales technique, make it look like all the tickets have almost gone and it’ll smoke out those that leave it until the last minute who will now be panicking trying to get one of the last few on the Kop.
