Take away 20k season ticket holders,2300 farm yard animals,2k plus seats the "seat police" take out, 5k membership scheme holders,I can't really see many left for the "plus one" on season tickets.

If any of you ST holders would like a +1 for the game I'd be delighted to take that offer up, got a room booked at the Copthorne so I'm going to be there regardless![/QUOTE]

Is the room @ the Copthorne some form of reciprocation for me getting you a ticket ?!?!?

Scenes when we sell Brooks, Fleck and Clarke in the week leading up to the game.....

:p

Oh right. Okay for farmyard animals but not domesticated dogs and cats. Thisfucking club. Its 2017!!!

This doesn’t seem a very well thought through way of selling these tickets, it will be a total free-for-all on Monday and genuine regulars will possibly lose out to total randoms who just happen to know a season ticket holder. I have a 17/18 membership and around 16000 loyalty points, Not the ‘biggest blade’ by a long stretch but i am easily in the top 25000 ‘biggest blades’ and I will be very peeved if I can’t get a ticket for this one.
I agree to an extent, but I would assume every 'genuine regular' actually knows someone with a season ticket.

Even if that’s true it’s not really the point. I have a valid membership so I can attempt to get tickets on Monday with just as much chance as via a mates ST. There are only going to be around 8000-9000 tickets available, all United needed to do was allow a couple of days for people with memberships/loyalty points to get their tickets before opening it up to Auntie Ethel, the next door neighbour or ( heaven forbid) a Wednesday supporting mate who “promises to be quiet for 90 minutes”.

I agree with the points being lost, but I don't think the majority of those who do want to go will miss out on a ticket.

Perhaps the club should have allowed ST holders to purchase a plus one, but you have to have them as a friend or family.

I disagree.

I want their fans to be as intimidated as possible and preferably covered in p*ss.

The game now being on a Friday will make it a difficult experience for any pig fan daft enough to come.

They will have plenty of time. Jezza Kyle finishes, off to Maccy D's for lunch, up to the Job Centre for their actively seeking work (pmsl) interview. Down to the local Spoons to get loaded, then jump on the Tram for a freebie ride to town.

All of this could have been better thought out, but whilst the club are wanting to shift half STs (and STs are the club's bread and butter), it won't bend over backwards for casuals. The plans will also easily ensure a total sell out.

Fwiw me and my old man have said to 'blade' family and friends (who've barely been this season or prefer to shove shit up their nose) not to expect any faves. Bollocks to em :-)

I gots me 600 loyalty points, from going when I can.

I think the chance of getting a ticket for me and the old man are slim to zero.

Since forest fairy bottled his pen we have known we would be playing the pigs at some point this season. I would have thought people would have done a bit of forward planning and got at least a membership. You have only had to go to a minimum 5 games since the loyalty points system began to get the 500 points required. We have this crop up every time there is a big game and still people whinge that they might not get a ticket :(

Gutted, they can’t find my account on system. My email is not on system anymore. How the fuck that happens I don’t know, they refuse to even look into it and said open a new one ! Well i have had to but gonna miss out derby day due to this bullshit, absolutely fuming it’s happened. My only hope is a fellow blade or some miracle.

Do you have your account number or any old tickets for games?

Do you still get a discount with the membership cards ? Seems a bit daft not to have one if you get your money back after attending a few games. Surely a ST holder can't buy an extra ticket for just anybody that is plain dumb we could have people there with zero loyalty points.:confused::confused:

And what's the chance of tickets being available for 2 of us part timers??? :(

There will be roughly 10k tickets available for the non season ticket holders, I would think most fans who want a ticket know someone who has a season ticket or have points, I am sure most fans will get a ticket if they want to go.
Otherwise buy a half year ticket, some fantastic home games coming up in 2018

No, had a look but dont normally keep ticket stubs. I asked the box office to search by address but nothing at all, despite having my tickets delivered to that address. I don’t have my membership number anywhere as i dont recieve any blades letters or emails. Iam literally locked out by the club.

Isn't this the first time we've used the ST & 17/18 members get first dibs on home tickets, though ? It's not like you can forward plan a made up rule for shit like that. I have a membership card and over 500 points, I'm fine but my step-son only started going this season and I didn't get him a membership, he lives in Nottingham and didn't really know how many games he would get to. I really wanted my step-son to experience his first Steel City Derby at the Lane. Alas, we'll be watching it on Sky Sports together My dad/brother both have more than enough points but no membership card, my dad wont miss out because I'll be giving him my card.

Stupidly I didn't bother with a membership this season, which, given you get a free match ticket after five home games so works out free if you attend more than 5 games. Now I'm looking at forking out 25 quid for a membership plus 30 for a match ticket, or waiting until Jan 3. Or finding a ST holder to get me a ticket.

Make that 7000 we have to give the pigs close to 3000.

Not sure there will be 10k available. We have over 20k ST holders, virtually all of them will be going, and many will be buying a ticket for a mate. So that's maybe 24 or 25k. Given the pigs allocation and ground restrictions, there may not be more than 3 or 4k available Jan 3, if that.

Do you buy online? If so you should have email receipts

About 2400 l think but 500 more gone on segregation. Those 7000 remaining just about covers the pay on the day fans. Those regulars who don't have season tickets have more right to a ticket than someone l could get a ticket for who hardly goes. Makes a mockery of the loyalty points system.

We've got more pay on the day fans than4000.. Bollocks to "mates" who want to go just because it's the derby. They should get in the queue.

Hope they give regular updates on ticket sales. If it looks like I might miss out, I'll probably fork out for a membership as I've already booked flights

So what happens if all 20,000 ST holders decide to buy an extra ticket ? they way I see it if 3 out of 10 ST holders take up the offer the ground will be sold out.
