As a season ticket holder and someone who accepts the loyalty point system as the best it can be, l wonder how many Blades with plenty more than 500 loyalty points and travel away but for whatever reason don't have an ST could miss out because people like me can get a ticket for Auntie Ethel or little Jimmy neither of whom has ever set foot in BL? Or lose out to someone with only 500.
I know the club want a sell out but this seems it could be a tad unfair to regulars.

I'm certainly not getting an extra ticket.

In this situation i would say if you have a ticket stub from QPR, Millwall, Preston or Villa away you're entitled to a ticket for the home match v Pigs.

Totally agree. I'd put QPR and Millwall first if possible though.

Posted in the thread in the ticket forum, am I reading that right that ST holders can buy for anyone regardless of the +1's point total? So I could get one on my dad's account which has maybe 100 points on it?

Spot on. Looks like bonky unfairness to me. If the aim is to offer some kind of "reward" to ST holders, there are surely more equitable ways of doing this that don't involve pissing off anyone unable to afford a ST or attend every home game ? Very strange.

I've jagged two pig fans in the kidneys at the Lane this season AND wiped a bogey in one of their disabled child's hair. I'm absolutely furious that this won't be taken into account for this game.

Agree with both posts. Very poorly thought out.

I think people who are already on the system with enough points to be able to get a ticket should be able to do so before season ticket holders can purchase an extra ticket. seems unfair to me.
As Sean says let fans get tickets before Auntie Ethel and little jimmy

If your dad has a season ticket then he has more than 500 points.

If he doesn't have a season ticket then you're not going to get one on his account at all and if he only has 100 points neither is he.

Don’t agree with giving them just the bottom tier, despite them doing it for us. Tit for tat nonsense. Rather have 2.5k extra football fans in there rather than the once a season lot of ours. Makes for a better atmosphere too.

why would it ? be deathly quiet in their end when the 3rd goes in

Ticket stubs for away matches and vouchers out of season ticket books used to be the way it was done, before the dreaded loyalty points system.

I've got a season ticket and 35k loyalty points so makes no odds to me what the process is.

How does it work for me to take an 8 year old kid when it's one ticket per customer?

I thought about going to the Brum game but the site came back with that when I looked into it. Do I need to register for him? That seems a bit daft to me.

I have a season ticket though, but would assume I still needed someone else's account number to get the extra ticket

You actually want more Wednesday fans in our ground,at the expense of our own supporters?

Are you for fucking real ?
The last time they played at The Lane we only gave them the bottom tier. One of the reasons we only got 2,300 at the sty is that they new thats all they would get at The Lane
Why would you not want as many Blades in the ground as possible ?

I read it that season ticket holders can get one extra for anyone, irrespective of whether or not they have points or membership.

It seems to be designed to stop pigs registering now, buying tickets for a couple of games and then getting tickets in the home part of the Lane.

I have no doubt that season ticket holders will be held responsible for the behaviour of people they buy the additional tickets for.

Seems a fairly sensible trouble avoidance policy to me, but as others have stated there are elements of it that are unfair.

1. It's only the same as every other clubs' allocation
2. I hope your tin hat is strong enough :D

I've 7500 points but not a member or a ST holder - am I right in thinking that I won't be able to get a ticket at all because I don't have a membership? Must admit the site has confused me a little.

If any of you ST holders would like a +1 for the game I'd be delighted to take that offer up, got a room booked at the Copthorne so I'm going to be there regardless!

It gets more like Plentyoffish this site day by day

I disagree.

I want their fans to be as intimidated as possible and preferably covered in p*ss.

The game now being on a Friday will make it a difficult experience for any pig fan daft enough to come.

Register him as a 'friend & family' member Nade, I had to do it for my young one as well. New policy of the club apparently when buying online, I also had to register a colleague from work who isn't a Blade but occasionally comes along to matches with me.

I don't want violence, don't like it but I do want them intimidated, I want them shitting themselves, checking over their shoulders and too scared to make a peep. I also think their team are week and not together and a proper atmosphere at the lane and they won't be able to cope. Friday night under the lights it will be a nasty atmosphere and that is fine by me.

" Should any tickets remain these will go on general sale on 3 January to those fans who have 500 plus points and are registered on our database" So if your on the database and have 7.5k points you can buy tickets from this date. Alternatively you could buy a membership.

This doesn’t seem a very well thought through way of selling these tickets, it will be a total free-for-all on Monday and genuine regulars will possibly lose out to total randoms who just happen to know a season ticket holder. I have a 17/18 membership and around 16000 loyalty points, Not the ‘biggest blade’ by a long stretch but i am easily in the top 25000 ‘biggest blades’ and I will be very peeved if I can’t get a ticket for this one.

Ta mate. Think I'll just stop being tight and buy a membership!

I’m in the same boat as you get to 80% of home games and at least 2/3 aways a season but yet at risk of not getting a ticket for this. Suppose it’s the risk you take of not being a ST holder
