Both right. I put this photo on the old photo's thread after, I think Silent Blade had posted a photo of one of the goals in that game. From vague memory it was a bit of a nasty tackle, but then TC always had a bit of a nasty streak.

7. The stand in the background is the Walton Lane End (opposite the Gwlady's Street End).
8. Currie is going down the tunnel in the (main) Goodison Road Stand.
9. Our manager was John Harris
10. This was Currie's second dismissal of that season.
11. The first was on 2nd August 1972 at Peterborough in the SF of The Watney Cup.

Howard Kendall & Mick Lyons, eh?

The Blades line-up: 1. Tom McAlister 2. Len Badger 3. Ted Hemsley 4. Ian Mackenzie 5. Eddie Colquohoun 6. Keith Eddy* 7. Alan Woodward 8. Geoff Salmons 9. Bill Dearden 10. Tony Currie 11. Jim Bone. What a line-up!

*Around 5 weeks after this Everton game - on April 23rd 1973 - Keith Eddy scored a cracking winner in our 2-1 win at Old Trafford, Bobby Charlton's last home game for The Reds.

Colquhoun was still the captain before TC took over and then Eddy in the 1974-75 season

Goodson Park. TC scores winner 3-2. Bit of a scissor kick I think ? Ps. Not read the thread so ..
