Phone Torches

My phone doesn't have a torch, it has an "assistive light", which I contrive to turn on accidentally, in Count Arthur Strong fashion, and then can't find the icon to turn it off.

It's a New Mexican wave...
It basically means nowt exciting is happening on the pitch

Is 'Dragon's Den' still going? Here's my pitch! A highly-realistic yet legal version of the 'phone torch' - 'The phone flare!'

What was that all about last night v Scunny?

I'm not claiming that I started the big phone light illuminations last night but I did shine my phone torch at kick-off to my niece across the pitch as pre-arranged to show where we were and she did shine back. I'm a bit long in the tooth to be a trend-setter.

I kinda liked it. It's odd, we had a guest on Tuesday night, a lad from South Dakota who attended his first ever match. As well explaining simple rules such as penalty-kicks, you find yourself really wanting noobs to fall in love with it as much as you but over the course of 90 minutes instead of those long, formative years that the rest of us are afforded. It's the little displays of tribalism such as chants, collective applause, boos and cheers that I found myself the most proud of and wanting him to be impressed by, and the "fireflies" kind of fitted in to that, too. Yes, it's juvenile and could be considered a sign of boredom, but so is masturbation.

Have to say, when the whole arena/stadium does it, it looks pretty good. I love that Bray Wyatt entrance.

Not sure it has a place at a football match though....

It was like night matches from yesteryear. Standing on the Kop and seeing individual lights flash on the John Street stand as Woodbines and Park Drives were being lit.
Nowadays you'd be looking and thinking any second now that stand's gunna be up in a flash of flames!

S'pose Health and Safety are happier about phones being used.

You'd have thought so. Can't see him losing 2 at WM.

Wouldn't surprise me if Bray won on Sunday, it would really push Bray towards the main event picture and give Taker a good story for a potential final match in his home state of Texas at WM 32.
