If I had got his alleged wealth I probably would, but I haven't . I have invested approximately 400 for the last 30 years with no financial gain with no chance of recovering my money, it's just a matter of scale and proportion.

Pete McKee is a top bloke, even for a Grunter. He has done a lot of cartoons for the Sheffield Telegraph over the years, most of it a satirical take on the goings off at both Sheffield clubs. I don't really think allegiance comes in to it, and i certainly don't think he is Sheffield's version of Lord Haw Haw.

I think he should be saluted and admired for the quality of his work, and his hard work and dedication in to making himself a hugely successful career and becoming a well known and well renowned artist. It wasn't that long since he was working in a Tesco warehouse and the cartoons was just a bit of pin money for him.

I was fortunate to sit down and speak to him for an hour on a train up to Leeds going to Headingley watching the cricket, he had the same destination as i did, and i had a good conversation with him. He is a big Wednesdayite but has a good relationship with both clubs and both sets of fans, and he is probably one of the most down to earth blokes you will meet.

I've got 2 pieces of artwork in my front room, one is a McKee, and the other is a piece of artwork by this forums very own Presty . Both a nice pieces of Artwork and have a meaning that i can relate to.

Funny that, look at the list of clubs a similar size to us on that list since about 2007, ALL of which are above us. Palace, Southampton both in the Prem. Leeds in the Championship, Rotherham much smaller than us in the championship. Even Bournemouth are playing premier league football...

I don't know what Kevin McCabe believes mate, but have heard that he is holding out for at least 30 million, an impossible figure for a League One club.

Why does the size of the city matter? We get 20,000 in the door in League 1 and are by far the biggest draw in league one.

To be honest it's not McKees picture that's the problem, I think there's a harsh truth in it and it's pretty funny.
It's the fact that even people from far and wide outside the club can see what's going on.

I think he's been treated badly and misled by the board, and that his statement about , "having three years on his contract and the board being very supportive" had the vibe of a hostage video where the hostage says he/she has been treated very well and looked after but we all know they have been beaten and violated several times.

I would hope that that's closer to the truth to be honest. Three years compo is a lot to pay out, so the board needs to heed the message if that's the case. There can be little doubt that he would never had taken the job on unless the clubs situation had been mis-sold to him.
