Saturday 3pms not getting moved!
Its great for the season ticket holder
Last few seasons weve not had many. Now we're in the abyss of mediocrity, saturdays are more fun.
Been a crap season but 2 more wins will see us safe for sure.
I can live with mediocrity if it means the supporter experience and our traditional Saturday afternoons remain intact.
Someone will probably say that's a lack of ambition, fine, I'd rather be a safe champ side in best supporters' league in the world, than what chansiri did, or be stuck 16th in a borderline corrupt, manufactured tourist prem

I want to watch the top European sides and the worlds best players because I deserve it .

There

I’m with you pal.Supported United for over 50 years and this season has been average at best but it’s allowed me to be more relaxed knowing we’re not going to be involved in the playoffs (unlike some it was always a bridge too far for me) and just even enjoyed watching the likes of Coventry and Middlesbrough at the Lane played in a great atmosphere and competitive games.
I’m slowly falling out with football at the highest level.Don’t watch any Premier League or Champions League games and even the World Cup doesn’t hold any interest for me anymore.I watched with interest the interview with John Mclure regarding the plans for Sheffield Fc and like many fans now find myself taking more interest in grass roots football.⚔️

Given we’ve spent the last 10 seasons or so fighting for promotion/play offs, getting pummelled in 20th place or for one singular year dreaming of Europe I’m quite happy to see the season peeter out into mid table mediocrity for a change.

Wouldn’t want this to be the norm but given the horror show that was August to October I’m fairly relaxed about the whole thing.

There are still people that think there is a chance we might go down. Words fail me.

We can start Ings instead of a younger fitter (hopefully) player, without worrying about the result!

I've been going to Sheffield FC for years. John Mclure put a few on the gate on Saturday.

Won on Saturday, decent game last night. Sheffield 2 up at HT, Horbury came back to level it but Club nicked it very late on.

I do like a Chair who wears a suit but he really does need to tuck his shirt in or get a bigger size too.

Standards!

Some rationalisation that mate. I’m’on board though

Buying Sheffield, not Wrexham would have been a better Hollywood story.

I'm really looking forward to the last few games of the season.

I do not miss the constant "stress" of promotion chasing seasons. That feeling that one slip up (Millwall 2019, 2025) could mean the end of your charge. The checking of the other teams scores to see that they won AGAIN. The awful sinking feeling as you watch your club throw it away.

When they end well (2006, 2019, 2023*) they are great - when they don't (2003, 2009, 2012, 2025) you get all the stress and none of the fun.

*I didn`t actually think 2023 was that stressful either

Big game for Club tonight. If they can beat Beverley they can finish second and have all the playoffs at home. Unbeaten at home in the League - 13 wins & 3 draws. Alex Hardwick would be a beast at any level!
UTC!
