I’ve seen some great displays from my team over the years when up against it. I’m thinking the cup tie against Man Utd in the cup in ‘93 when it was real backs to the wall stuff for the last 30 minutes but that is right up there.

What a performance! Some of the blocks were unreal and some treat saves from Hendo.

That for me was the performance of the season. Blades are going up.

Fantastic team spirit was all over that performance, did you see Norwood celebrate the second goal with the fans, he really gets us, as do all the players really, very proud tonight of my Blades. We can win from any position it seems & I believe we have an inner strength now that has been lacking in the past.

Result of the season for me that, 10 minutes into the second half I could only dream of a two nil win. What a shift Billy put in when he came on, he was like a terrier all over the pitch.

So proud of them, I thought we were over and out when Madine went off, but, this team is a different gravy to others.

Feels like one of those "promotion season"* wins.

Could easily have gone differently.

Best backs against the wall display since jags had to go in goal v Arsenal.

*in speach marks because I can remember other such wins that haven't ended up in promotion.

That was defensively outstanding to a man! Got Madine out of the shit! Hendo, Joc, Egan & mcgoldrick in particular superb!

Now THAT was a great game. We weren't amazing going forward or down the wings (in fact we didn't have chance to play our usual game at all) but the defence was awesome and bringing Sharp on was a masterstroke from CW
Starting without him .......

Somewhat less so !!!!!!!

Unbelievable to keep one of the best attacking teams in the league out for so long, and with 10 men. O'Connell was absolutely ridiculous. I lost count of the amount of times he kicked, headed and cleared balls from danger from every position imaginable.

We also started without McGoldrick, who ended up having an even bigger impact on the result, especially with some of his interceptions and clearances from the LB position when we were really under the cosh. McGoldrick is by far our most talented all round forward, probably the most technically accomplished player we have.
