People that leave the Match before full time

I learned many years back never to buy a seat behind a gangway exit. To finesse it further, get a seat halfway along a row so you rarely have folk walking across you. :)

Well that's another complaint all together JD. I agree that happens sometimes and it's irritating. I have no problem with people complaining when their view is obscured by someone that can't decide if they're coming or going. Perfectly valid complaint.

What I don't agree with is people calling others out for leaving early. It has absolutely nothing to do with them.

Can't ever understand it.

Never done it.

Is it just to beat the traffic? How many goals must these people miss over the years?

Help me to understand this act.

Wish I'd have done it today. Would've got out the car park then.

I had my reasons and don't expect someone else to be crowd watching. My money, my life. Deal with it.
fair enough, not really anyone else's business. It's a strange football phenomenon though isn't

People generally don't leave other events early such as the theatre, cinema, snooker etc. But every game literally hundreds of folk walk past me out of the ground, often when the game is delicately poised. You've posted that you had your reasons and I respect your privacy but doesn't help anyone understand why most people do it

The reason why has long since BEAN established.

Many people need these things by 17:00 on Saturdays, 21:45 after midweek matches.

Leaving after full time simply makes this impossible.

It becomes my business when they get up to leave then don't leave, just stand around like gormless twats obstructing views and blocking exits.

To use American vernacular, either shit or get off the pot.

Isn't that the second point I made? The original post only makes reference to people leaving early in general and not seeing out the game. Hovering in front of someone's view is something else all together. Many people that do that are often going to the toilet or beating the half time queues so it's pretty much a different subject matter although granted it can happen on people exiting early. I don't make excuse for that, its inconsiderate but that wasn't the original subject.

For years people have complained to me about others leaving early because they "can't understand it" and have questioned the passion of that support. What on earth does that have to do with anyone other than the person leaving?!

You did make that point to be fair. I didn't read your post properly then I quoted the wrong post.

Hey it's early :)

If I leave with five minutes to go, it means my 70 mile journey home is 20-30 mins shorter. I never leave if the game is still alive, we are trying to score or even defending a slender lead.
I reckon I stay to the end much more often than I leave, but I confess the sacrifice of missing Utd 3-0 up, running the clock down, is sometimes a price worth paying.

There, I've said it :(

Last few seasons I could understand it, yet this season !. I'm sure the lads appreciate seeing hundreds streaming towards the exits, 10 minutes from the end, instead of staying to applaud them for their efforts.

Hey it's early :)

It was and to be fair who cares now given today's news.

I reiterate though, anyone that stops and stands in front of your seat is an inconsiderate turd and it's a legitimate complaint.

No one had better do it to me when we lift the trophy!

Already stated it pisses me off when so many people have to go to get them early buses. fair do's if people live out of Sheffield, But c'mon as already stated the Management and team have brought pride back to wearing the Red and White Shirt, scarf, benny hat of the Blades. Does it hurt to get sore hands and applaud the team and management off the pitch. How many gonna go early against Bradford or Chesterfield. I know i wont
