Have I mentioned that if we miss out on promotion by 2 points this season I'm blaming McGoldrick, yes I'm going to ignore the goals he's scored and all the valuable contributions he's made and hold him to account for one of the things he's done wrong.

That's how it works with our strikers isn't it? Do something wrong and we batter them, do something right and we expect it of them.

I don’t think people are “battering” McGoldrick, are they? He missed a penalty against Wednesday and this is a thread which was started after that game and revived last night discussing who should take the penalties in future. I favour Norwood but feel free to disagree. It’s a forum, after all.

I'm commenting on the general mood towards a striker on here when they have a less than perfect game. Madine seems to be getting the treatment today. McGoldrick was getting it a few months ago.
