he wasn't talking about the youth team or the football.... he was interviewed about the colour of his players' boots. In stereotypical yorkshire fashion, he explained that our youth team have to have black boots only and if anyone turns up with coloured boots, they need to paint them pre-match. Also, our youth team are allowed no 'funny' haircuts and no piercings.

Good on ya pembo! Keep the yorkshire mentality in the club!

I know a few clubs do the black boot thing in their Academy's it seems to work as it instills a little bit of discipline and the idea is that its a team game, no place for fancy dan superstars with gay boots on...

Perhaps blue boots Yeates should learn from this....
