To be fair to Durham, he then slated Pelligrini for being so utterly ignorant about how we play; said that anybody who knows anything about Sheffield United knows that we don't play how he described; that United fans would be right to be livid; and that, moreover, West Ham fans should be worried that their manager is so utterly clueless about a team they are playing against in 2 days' time.

Can only assume that the senile old duffer actually has very little involvement with training and preparation for matches. He probably leaves that side of things to a team of coaching staff (who won't be quite so clueless) and is then just wheeled out to be the figurehead for press conferences and such like.
