So Philips at 8. Cannon has been given the 9 so we're short on a 7. Chong was 27 last season, so maybe he gets 7.

Weirdly there's some oddness around the squad on the official page. No Brooks, makes sense, but Ings, Mee, T.Davis, Jairo, all present, along with Soumare and the other loanees - Hjelde, Hoever, Bindon, Ogbene, Philips.

If the web team have been instucted to remove Brooks, why not all the loanees as and released players as well?

Not sure about Andrew but I know his mate still works at the club. Just looked at the photo in Andrew's twitter. I used to work with Nick who is wearing the Wendy shirt in the photo. He isnt a Wendy fan so I dont really know the reason for him wearing the shirt but knowing him he likes to do outrageous things for a laugh! Have bumped into Nick once or twice since I retired from work 3 years ago and he often goes to Blades home games for the last 15 or so years.

Yes, looks like it.

Nick used to be a very good local player but I dont think he really supported a football team. At work in 2007 he used to try and wind me up over the Tevez saga. I kept trying to tell him that I am not really angry with Tevez but angry with West Ham and the Premier League but he carried on saying "Tevez! Tevez!". When his mate started working at SUFC he then started going to matches at the Lane and then started to wind up Wendy fans at work instead of trying to wind me up.

I have heard that Brooks and Hamer are the ones that haven't been give squad numbers but Peck and 2 knew signings have.

Names that are expected from current rumours.

Hamer has #8 on his training wear
