I think we get rid of Peck and Hamer either in this Window or summer when we’ll really need to balance the books and give us a fighting chance of a push next year. We’re currently seeing how we can cope without them, and if we can tie Jairo down for a longer contract and with Arblasters return, COH form, we we the makings of a great midfield for the champ next year. Could be nearly £25-30m for the pair.

I feel he has the qualities to rise in the game for the top level. He's still young.

Been murmurs around Peck for ages.

If we are to sell him to Brentford, I'd hope it would involve a loan back until the Summer. Uses a spot but we really need him around if we're going to do anything this season.

If it's West Ham, they're not going to consider loaning him out in the position they're in.

As for a fee... I'd be pretty pissed off if it's less than £15m guaranteed. I would hope for £10m in add-ons and a very chunky sell-on clause (20% +).

There's been rumours for ages but I never got the whole "Peck is pushing for a move" one. Lad celebrates a blades goal like I would winning the lottery.

If he keeps on developing and improving like he is, he's got Premier League written all over him. I've always thought Brighton would be the one.

Regardless, as others have said, if he does go, we shouldn't be looking at anything less than 15m with add-ons. Whether COH agree is another thing.

Agreed. Another decent barometer is Adam Wharton - he left Blackburn for a fee of £18m with a further £4-5m of add ons.

Wharton is a much better player though. I rate Peck, but Wharton is on a different level, especially in speed of thought and vision.

I really rate Peck, have been clear about that on here for a while but I do think he now needs to try and define what type of CM he is and he needs to add an extra level of athleticism to his game if he is to cope at Prem level.

He isn't ready yet, but that doesn't mean someone won't snap him up and let him develop.

Wharton's being watched by Real Madrid, about 6 weeks ago on here Peck was the worst player since Paul Williams.

Anyway, it'd be lovely to see a fully fit Peck and Arblaster together in the 1st team, I think that's when we'll see the best of both of them.
