Unfortunately think it's some inner family drama.

His other son posted this and then Paul blocked him

I didn't know a Blade was capable of trying to get laughs from such misfortune.. Shame on you mate. Hope you don't know what it's like to have one of your kids missing. Very poor taste IMHO.
Think you’re focusing on the wrong thing here. The situation isn’t the joke.

Lets not fall out on this, thoughts and prayers for his safe return.

The joke was about that the kids hairstyle looking like David Luis, not that the kid has apparently gone missing and his family are worried.
The joke isn't and wasn't intended to be offensive.
Glad to hear it mate. Still don't see the hair thing as a joke but we all have different humour.;) UTB

Generally speaking (nothing known in this case) please don't repost missing person posts unless they come from the police, some people are running from abusive situation and the abuser is seeking to further manipulate friends.

Understand the sentiment but many people are found safely through sharing on social media. I found someone in a dangerous and sensitive situation through sharing on FB.

Whilst I totally understand the risks you're alluding to I'm not sure everyone everywhere stopping sharing outweighs the risks.

Why? Paul McGrath Sr was/is known for liking a drink is he not?

just at this time re his son going astray I thought it wasn't needed but you probably think I'm being sensitive! No worries either way.

No worries, I can see that it might be a sensitive time, but as he’s been found safe and well, I thought I could have a bit of a joke.

Yes agree it is a sensitive one, but that is the advice from the Police. I have had it from the Police Domestic Abuse Unit when I was a safeguarding lead at a school. Then again as a search manager for Northants Search and Rescue working with the specialist Police Search Advisers. We were looking for a woman in her 70's a few months back and it was social media appeals that got her found safe and well within a few hours. That one was filmed by Channel 4 and might end up on their 999 Whats your emergency show.

No worries mate and as I regularly say, we're all Blades on here - not to be confused with we're all blades, aren't we? Can't stand the link to Wednesday fans saying that!

Right, changing the subject somewhat, got to go, setting off on a weeks camping holiday in Peterborough! Whoo-hoo!

If anyone hasn’t read McGrath’s book then I’d really recommend you do. Blokes had a really rough life!
