Would be a great move for him and I think for us. He had real potential and did well at Dingles hence why he ended up at dirty Leeds but his career has flopped since, not the first won't be the last. Shadowing CWAK and working with our players is potentially the best thing he could do for his career long term.

Pretty exciting play to be fair as far as backroom staff moves go.

Got senior experience so he knows what players he'd want to coach, therefore what to develop

Good stuff that I reckon.

Shows were serious about the academy improving, he's been a decent manager at points in his career, made one bad decision when shifting though which I think set him back.

Good relationship with Wilder too I believe.

What a great appointment.
Experience of management, coaching young players and managing expectations.

He will add a lot to the academy and transition to the first team. First job however is to get some kids who could step up

Tremendous appointment. Great record of working with younger players.

Can only be a positive for the Academy as it strives to improve and achieve Cat 1, and the club as a whole.

This. We are hopefully now in a position to start building and recruiting the best young players.

We’ve seen some of our kids nabbed by bigger clubs - but I think investment in getting youth kids in will pay dividends.

If we develop a walker / Maguire now we could be in The position To keep them or demand £40m +. It only takes one or two to come through.
