I would just like to say a huge thank you to Paul Heckingbottom and the team.

He is doing a fantastic job and developing the team into real contenders, he has some excellent management skills

1) Knows the United way/expectation and drills this into the players - everyone has to work hard.
2) He encourages attacking/entertaining football football - goal attempts prove this.
3) He brings through youth players and is willing to give them a run - Norrington-Davies, Ndiaye.
4) He can spot a player and persuade them to come or stay - Ahmedhodzic, Lowe, Doyle.
5) He remains calm and realistic in interviews
6) He has steal e.g telling Ahmedhodzic at the Sunderland match "to get the F***K up don't show them you are tired"

He now has his own team and identity - look at the line up from Wilders last game, only Two survived to play against Reading!

Ramsdale, Baldock, Ampadu, Bryan, Bogle, Lundstrum, Norwood, Fleck, Stevens, Brewster, McGoldrick.

Your point is very well made.

Only (peak) Ramsdale and Bogle would get in the current team. Maybe Fleck. But Doyle looked like he’s made that position his own for the time being.

I got rather excited by the prospect of Anel, Bogle and Berge on our right hand side.

That would put the wind up any team in the Championship and at least half the premier league.

It was interesting to hear Lee Hendrie’s comment in the Luton match about the amount of work Jack Lester had done with McBurnie , confirmed by Oli in his post match interview with the added comment “ He’s probably even happier than I am about.the goal .”

See Pauls record is far better than Wilders , how shrewed is the Prince ? , knows a winner when he sees one .
All because archetypical bad guy Yusuf simply didn’t give a fuck what we all thought.

Football Manager indeed!
