There will be a lot of agents telling journalists of teams that have enquired to get more interest in their players. Pretty standard. It might just be a case of - 'How much is Dozzell looking for a week? Nah not for us then....Headline - Sheffield United are interested in buying Dozzell'

One thing i never understand is (not just picking on you) why don't you "ITK" guys ever post about a random player that's never ever been mentioned before?

It's why i give Nixon some credit, last summer he posted before anyone else on Tom Davies and i think same this summer on O'Hare? Same with Orouke.

Tried with O'Hare in May but he already had a thread. Brooks and Carvalho had a thread too. Hamer last year had a thread. Shackleton didn't but I didn't want to start one as was in the airport about to board a flight so just posted his initials. ITK isn't always about breaking the name or even getting it first. Sometimes you just get info on the plot as it unfolds. Proactive vs Reactionary. I'm also reliant on my source who can be both on it/or not with the proactive updates he gives me.

Serious question, whats with having a pseudo patroon only giving S24 member info if they DM you, do you really need that much attention? Your credibility as an S24 ITKer goes down the pan looking for followers, this is an open forum for all Blades

His credibility as an ITK went down the pan from not actually being “in the know” at all. I’d rather he kept his fairy tales in other people’s DMs than have them cluttering up the forum.

He was down the pecking order long before the takeover, the only time he's played more than half the games in a season was once in the Championship.

1005 days out with injury and 140 games missed over an 8 year period up to 2022. History of hamstring injuries. Only 5 appearances in the last 3 years.

Unless he's being brought into a coaching role the only benefit seems to be testing the strength of the treatment table.

The medical will have to be as good as the one John Ebbrell didn't have all those years ago to pass him fit. One to give a wide berth from a playing perspective imo.

Can't believe we're even having a discussion about signing this sick note. Makes John Ebbrell look a picture of health. Have the Club learned nothing about last seasons failings on the injury front.

If ya can’t afford the best fruit you have to check what’s avaiable in the reduced section. Can’t believe with new owners on the sidelines they are happy with allowing the club to tie itself up contracts on a bang average side financed by the family silver. I know they can’t put money in but is deal so far away they can’t influence the current situation with an IOU or promissory?
 
He might be ok as a backup, but we would still need a first choice RCB.
 
Can see why we'd have been looking if we didn't get the players we wanted but as we've just signed two left backs better than him and have a bunch of other players who can play there he's not needed, even if you ignore his injury record.
 
Plenty of reports in the press we are looking to sign him. My son in law is big Newcastle fan and says he is good Championship central defender but hardly ever fit to play. Sounds like another Ciaran Clarke and so a no no from me. Anyone else heard anything or know anything about him?
