If you enjoyed watching Devs play for United, like I did, you'll like this little trip down memory lane

  • Scrapping with a naked Marcus Bent
  • The "Brucey take 'em off" saga at Highbury
  • Drinking with Chris Wilder
  • The real reasons he left Sheffield United
  • Rob Kozluk... and much, much more

Thanks. I liked him and had a Devlin shirt as well!

Was a good lad was Devs. Thought he was a great little player and wore his heart on his sleeve. Feisty little fuka.

Let himself down at end of his time with Utd as he had clearly taken his ball home at not getting his move to Brum, and some of his performances at the end stank the place out as he played like he didn't give a shit which is the ultimate crime to any club fan. That said, like he said in his interview, he knows he didn't handle it well and that was his one regret in his career. He also mentioned that he hoped we would remember the other 3 and half years and not the last 6 months, which is a fair enough comment tbh.

I remember one game around Christmas time when we beat a very good PNE side 3-2 at the Lane after going 2 nil down early doors. That day, with the Lane rocking, Utd turned it round and nicked a late winner, and Devs was absolutely superb. He tore them a new one all afternoon and didn't stop running. For me, that was his finest game in a Blades shirt. Wonder if he remembers that one?

He does sound like a top fella, who loves life, and I wish him all the best for the future. Thanks for the goals and the many assists for the Blades, Devs. 👍

I have to say that despite not having a great opinion of Warnock myself, you can add Devlin to the large number of players who speak very highly of him.

Good interview lads and you did right to raise the manner of his leaving which stopped it being a complete love-in.

Keep them coming lads, keep them coming......

Now this is what I call a podcast! Excellent guys, well done.

We have many more coming up.

Thanks for the feedback.

I personally think everything on the channel is quality and worth subscribing and watching regularly...but then I would say that.

I enjoyed it, good interview.

I was sceptical as to whether a youtube video could be classed as a podcast, but I googled it and I'll let you off, it can.

This needs a bump as:

A) There's no proper football on for a week
B) It's really good
C) We are in Lockdown so what else are you doing?*

If there's anyone else you'd like to see on a podcast like this in the future please let me know.

*Don't answer that I don't care

Is the same as the one posted earlier this year? I would imagine very similar if not. Always will love Dev, pleased he still has a big affinity for us and he was a great winger. In my best ever 11, if you go 4-4-2, it's got to be Whitehouse on the left, Dev on the right. Both proper wingers, although Paul Ifill would rival Dev for the right side, but he didn't play as long for us.

It is new and different in many areas.

Enjoyed the Devlin one.

Brown or Kozluk? Seen a few podcasts now and Kozluk always crops up from players of that era.

For those don't have time for the whole interview here is a highlight, a very short clip which is both hilarious and terrifying in equal measure

COMING UP: Nick Montgomery, Wayne Quinn, Gus Uhlenbeek and Patrick Suffo
