Who the fuck does he think he is? Bamford has never yet scored 20 goal in a season and I doubt he ever will I think is time at Chelsea has given him ideas way above his station. A journeyman at 25 and only 68 goals in his career out of 200+ games why do clubs even bother with him ?

“Norwich have been handling it but for Sheffield United it’s the first time they’ve been in this position. It’ll be interesting to see how they cope with it: no longer being the underdogs and being in pole position.”

Here grafikhaus sort that f******g graph out will ya mate?
You've had us second a couple of times before which apparently, according to bitter Bamford, is not right!

2nd? We've been top.

What does that floppy-haired dickhead know? Having moved clubs ten times in the last eight years, he's probably confused.

Last season he was at Middlesbrough so probably didn't notice when we went top on October 27th, 2017 after a win at...Leeds. That was a brief visit to the upper echelons by The Blades. This season, we haven't been out of the top six since September 1st 2018. But it's all about Norwich and Leeds, isn't it?

Mind games, that's all. I'd have expected our players to say that all the pressure was on Leeds to keep winning if we'd not have won at the weekend. Not worth getting sandy fannies over.

Mind games indeed. Funny how mind games played by the loser always comes over as sour grapes. Even his own fans are telling him to suck it up and sort his own performance out.

Patrick Bumfuck.... he’s had more clubs than Peter Stringfellow....stick your opinion up your chocolate starfish you arrogant turd.

Off the top of my head, the following have no promotions on their CVs:

Dean Henderson
John Egan
David McGoldrick
Scott Hogan
Kieran Dowell
Kean Bryan

Conor Washington's one promotion was with Newport County from the Conference to League Two.

Think an important factor is that almost our entire squad have experienced successful promotion campaigns as recently as the last 2 years. Of those above Henderson was in the play-off final with Shrewsbury and Hogan was in the playoff squad with Villa.
Madine won auto promotion with Cardiff and Norwood must think this promotion lark is normal football. Last year he was promoted from the Championship with Fulham, the year before he was promoted from the Championship with Brighton.

Basically we have far more experience handling the pressure of promotion battles than either Leeds or Norwich.
Also our manager has more experience handling English promotion battles than Bielsa or Farke.
Chris Wilder is going for his 3rd promotion in 4 years.

Scraping the barrel if you’re including Bryan. Hogan went up with Rochdale.

So three of our regulars plus Dowell. Compared with
Bash, JOC, Stevens, Baldock, Fleck, Norwood, Duffy, Sharp of our usual starters plus Freeman, Steargoat, Cranie, Madine

So I suggest Bamford was incorrect in saying our players aren’t used to pressure. The vast majority are.

Earl Grey no doubt.

Randomly, it pisses me off when people say ‘builder’s tea’ instead of tea. Like only builders drink it. ‘Oh would you like Earl Grey or builder’s tea’.
‘Well I’m here to look at your roof so what do you fucking think? Actually I’d prefer coffee but I’ve seen you’ve only got standard Nescafé and I’d rather drink my own piss. Milk, no sugar and no biscuits. Don’t put them out on a plate to make me feel guilty, I’m a fat fucker and I don’t want type 2 diabetes thank you’.

I'll have to forgive you being from the dark side but Builders Tea is a strong brew. You leave the bag in longer and use far less milk.

As for Earl Grey, I often don't have any milk with that, at all.

What I cannot stand is milky, weak as piss tea - summat you coffee drinkers often fucking lay on us normal tea drinking types that just want to get on with life and depend on a good brew to keep the world straight. HOW FUCKING DARE YOU DISPARAGE OUR NATIONAL DRINK AND BELITTLE IT JUST TO A CUPPA FOR MANUAL WORKERS. WE ALL NEED LOVE AND A GOOD CUPPA TO SURVIVE

Ahhhhhhh, my tea has just arrived :)

And it’s not just that almost the entire squad have experience of facing the pressure of a promotion battle
But probably more important is that, almost the entire squad have recently sampled the success of winning a promotion battle.
We also have plenty of older/ very experienced players in our squad and plenty of leaders with captaincy experience.

Vern likes Tea you can stand a spoon up in. And if that spoon isn't standing, you won't be either..................

I drink both. Yorkshire Gold usually. The reason I tend to go for coffee is that many people can’t make tea properly and I don’t like that weak as piss excuse for a brew any more than you do. Hence my initial statement that ‘builders’ tea’ is just ‘tea’, i.e. brewed to the correct strength.

I would never serve anyone a weak milky ‘tea’ (OK, maybe a pig fan).

I don’t really get the ‘either or’ thing. I like both coffee and tea. They’re both good and I always start the day with a nice cup of tea, made from boiling water, to a decent strength. Lovely, smashing, super.

Redeemed thisen :)

I take it all back about Leeds fans being magnanimous in defeat. All that nervous mutual respect before the game has rapidly changed. It now ranges from petulant name calling to vitriolic hateful bile.......loving it.

Might be because he's always seemed like one of those players it was about to happen for, but never has. He'll do well out of the game financially but in 20 years will be pretty much forgotten. Unlike our Billy.

This^^^ seen it a few times that's why I'd rather they stayed away. As previously stated I don't mind people generally passing comment but buddying up with rivals? Have some dignity.
