I just had a glance at the table.
Whilst it's no surprise that we've scored the most goals in the league, I was surprised that our opponents this Saturday have conceded the least (incidentally they have also scored the least)

Has anyone seen them play (or kept tabs on them) this season, perhaps someone exiled there or nearby? I missed them at BDBL, so I can only assume that they will approach the game negatively.

They do seem to have improved with Sheridan in charge, might be harder than the tables suggest. That and we are their closest rivals in their fans warped minds.

Connor Ripley has been amazing for them in net and was correctly put in the TOTS, been the best keeper in the league this season

Be a tough game Saturday on a very poor pitch. They played well against us earlier in the season and have been good defensively throughout the campaign. We should have enough but I see it as the toughest away game we have left

They keep the pitch in such a state that it impossible to play football on it.....hence why they don't score or concede.....the ball rarely makes it to either net other than the odd hoof.

I seem to remember them having a huge pitch advantage in 1990 and most people said we had no chance seeing as they were unbeaten in 38 games.
That ended well (and the season too)

Sheridan will be desperate to dent our promotion charge due to his affiliations but more importantly they need points to stay up. They are unlikely to get more than a draw by parking the bus and really need a win, where as we actually don't. They may as well have a go, at least that is what I am hoping.

I was away training last week and there was a Man U fan there from Manchester, he said he hates Wednesday because of that league cup defeat.

They have the fourth best defensive record, not the best, but it's still remarkable to be so close to the bottom 4 having let in less than a goal a game. Shows how feeble their forwards are, I suppose.

They have the best keeper in the division, so the team sheet says today.

Just noticed he's the son of Stuart Ripley the former Smoggies forward and that he's on loan from them. Wonder if it's worth looking at him if we go up?
Is he better than Moore?
