De Boer tried to change the style of play, like Slav did with us. The club realised it wasn’t working as they didn’t have the players to implement it

De Boer was there for 5 games as you say, but Hecky have built a squad over a period of time and moved up the leagues.

All three promoted sides sit in the relegation positions, prior to this weekend we hadn’t been in the bottom 3 and hadn’t been out of any game either

It’s not to say that I think Hecky should be retained or removed, just answering your post

But apart from that...

West Broms highest finish was 8th under Steve Clarke in 12/13 season so you can scratch that one.

Obviously England fans should never be happy unless we reach at least the Semis of a tournament considering the talent we have available. Quarter's is just out of the group stage, nothing special.

Euro finals with Fulham was great to be fair, but that was 13 years ago, it's not something he went on to replicate.

I think there was a time where he was a good shout, but I certainly don't think he could fo a better job than Hecky with the squad and money available.
