It might sound simple but I think pace would have a major benefit.

Raw pace, someone like Ussain Bolt would have been no good tonight as there was no space behind their defence. However pace with direct dribbling skills would have worked tonight, someone like Steve Kabba.

It's sometimes about having someone quick enough to get onto a 50/50 ball in tight areas around the box. We have enough of those situations. It's nonsense to say we don't need any pace.

Every side needs pace, pace is always an advantage. I wish all our players were fast as fuck, but they need to have the technical ability too in our team. I'd love it if we could find a few of them.

Pace and strength; a striker / forward with both would transform our attack.

Just imagine this team with Brit Assombalonga in it? A player we should have signed a few seasons ago, but wouldn't pay for back then, so no chance now.

True but I think he is talking about catching them on the break when they did attack from a corner for example.

Pace isn't going to make any difference at all when you're up against a team playing 9 in defence.

If we are talking about a 1 man counter attack then we are about £15m short of that sort of player. They only exist at the top level.

Not just about crossing the ball, strikers need to run into the right positions to receive the cross.
