Showed tonight against a good athletic, pacey Leicester side where we are well short all over the pitch. We struggled to defend against it and didn't have enough of it to seriously trouble them. Technically we have players that can cut it, but we need that pace and strength to progress.

100% agree, even if its harsh as that side for Leicester probably cost the best part of £100million plus

We are crying out for some pace to give our play another dimension - but unfortunately its a prized asset and not cheap to add. Think we are probably trying to add that in defence and attack - hopefully we get some movement before the deadline.

Wilder knows we definitely need it but so do a lot of clubs, its not that easy to find at a cheap price.

Baldock, Stevens, Fleck, Brooks, Thomas and Lavery all have a bit of pace, it's a good asset to have but many, many players such as Paul McGrath and Stuart McCall have shown you can either make the ball do the work or have two or three yards in your head to make pace redundant a lot of the time.

Paul Coutts and Jake Wright fall into the lesser category for now of these two things so we do have talent to cope for now.

In short, pace is nice but not a necessity. Although I do love a pacey player running at a defender at full tilt.

Let's not forget, Leicester are a very good side.
