With Osula about to depart, who do we have left that has pace, quick feet to play in an attacking role.Moore (no) Brewster ( no hamstring can't take it).
Maybe we will play walking football and make the ball do the work instead of legs.
Maybe we have a Wayne Allison type lined up.

Marsh, O'hare, im sure we will pick up atleast 1 loan p top

We HAVE to bring pace in to this squad and plenty of it.

Osula a big loss in this regard.

UTB

Ohare brings pace, Hoever brings pace, Mcallum doesn't look slow, I expect us to offer Dozzel a contract, but I agree, we need pace, we need a keeper, we need defenders, infact, we need a fucking miracle currently!

I say we go for a keeper with pace who is little and tricky and a giant in the air.
Problem solved.

It feels unlikely any team has success changing 90%+ of the first team squad

The exudus of players (like 20!?)when the rest of the sales happen must be unprecedented.

Weve no depth anywhere

We can’t even field a first choice right back or GK atm. We have nothing upfront other than a 32 year old. We have no wide players

We’ll sell Souza and Anel.

Were one midfield injury away from not being able to field a midfield or Defence as well.

It’s pathetic, so close to the new season .

I can’t imagine Moore and O’Hare could have been attracted if they hadn’t discussed significant incoming transfers. A pitch of being the senior players in a team of chabs would have sent them running to the hills.

That’s my only hope! I was really looking forward to this regeneration but I’m really worried about the lack of senior pros.

I’m really starting to wonder wtf is going on if Osula goes! I don’t understand the game plan what with Jebbison, Bogle & even Mcburnie leaving! Anel, Hamer & Souza all potentially to go too. Prince Abdullah an absolute joke now

What's this "upfront" you speak of?

We don’t even have wingers or strikers, hard to have pace without them 😂

Thought someone had bumped a thread from 1961.
Thought Woodward Fan had made a return but then realised the thread didn’t mention being French or Black, just pacey.

If he’s sold it is a terrible decision made at boardroom level as all coaches at the club really know how talented this kid he is. Usually shit strengthen in other areas and we know it wont happen or loans. Fucking shameful.

Shouldn’t this thread just say ‘Players upfront’?

We could do with at least a couple.

Totally agreed if the rumours are true and we do end up with £10million, I think we should be looking at an experienced striker plus "a bit of a gamble" with pace. Experience wise could be like a Tom Bradshaw from Millwall, he might not be the most inspiring player but does get appearances in the Championship i.e. stays fit and gets goals too. Although not the greatest goal return last season if we could "bring out his inner 22/23 season" 17 goals from 41 appearances would be a good start. A bit of a gamble player is Harry Leonard from Blackburn, good height and holds the ball up well. There a few out there.

Sell a bit of a gamble with pace to bring in a bit of a gamble with pace. Seems logical

We desperately needed a new striker, so instead we sold the player who was probably going to be leading the line this season. Brilliant stuff once again. I don't care about playing good football and winning football matches - I just want us to make a profit every transfer window. And we're certainly doing that.
