I'm in my 60's, have seen this many times and I don't think as supporters there's much we can do. We can't force them to sell and we can't force anyone to buy so I'll just keep watching the games, pray for a miracle and seriously hope that we're still solvent in the next two years. What I won't do is become that bloke in the pub who's always talking really loud, usually chatting shit and looking for an audience to hear the bollocks that I'm spouting. I wish there were more on here who didn't crave woe is me attention so much but hey, that's life.

Its lucky we have assets to fall back on I’m not sure how the football league will see it as they state that clubs can’t take on debt for the owners to buy the club I think the Glazers were the last to do that but in our case the owners have cleverly moved the ownership across platforms probably to buy time and the remaining debt is getting paid by player sales eventually, I guess the positive thing is that we won’t be lumped with extra debt…

It’s obvious the current owners want out

They are getting as much cash on the balance sheet as possible, and reducing the long term wage bill as much as possible. Giving the next lot as much flexibility as possible.

Our only hope is that our current owners are better connected to the super rich, than the previous owner. Resulting in a faster change of ownership.
