We seem to have a problem on this site of abject negativity

Does anyone in here remember the days in the 4th division

Or when Wednesday ruled the roost in the 70’s / 80’s

We are in the top tier again,
The Wendy’s have just scraped through into tho the 2nd tier

We’ve lost 1 player

What the fucking hell is the problem with this fucking site of so-called blades fans

If you don’t like the blades then fuck of to Hillsborough, where I think most of you belong

Blade since 1963
And will be ‘till I die

A nice friendly greeting for 'most of us'.

I was born in 63 and yes, I do remember Div4 and that lot above us through the 80s and mid/late 90s.

There have been loads of toys out of the pram posts over Illy leaving, but no need to pour petrol on, as the fire dies down.

Also think it’s the effect of twitter and Facebook where in order to gain likes and views you must exaggerate. The more controversial and divisive the better.

When we win apparently we are brilliant. Hecky is a tactical genius then when we lose the next game apparently we’re crap, get rid of the players, the manager and the board. It’s quite funny and predictable.

Being measured and reasonable is considered pretty boring these days .

Having a viewpoint should consist of nuances, Regards United when N’Diaye was sold, instead of improving the squad
, surely everyone can see we are weaker than last season. So with the current squad I’m confident we’ll be relegated.

However based on past events we’ll have a few good players coming into the club soon. So instead of panicking, I’m quietly confident that when the window shuts we’ll have a much stronger/ better squad than last season and I expect us to stay up.

Wouldn’t surprise me if I’m a few weeks many of our fellow Blades say “who’s N’Diaye” showing zero loyalty by saying he’s made his bed and we don’t want him back.

Not currently I don’t think so no. The aim seems to be to keep our long term liabilities as low as possible I can’t think of any other reason not to be have tied up new deals for the likes of Egan and Baldock. I think unless we get a change in ownership cheap and cheerful is the order of the day.

He played one great season for us in the Championship, so to suggest he is the best we have had in 50 years, before he tested himself in the PL, is a bit over the top.
I enjoyed watching him play and would have enjoyed seeing how he would have been this season, but he has gone and I, for one, have moved on.

..and apart from one disastrous recent year, cheap and cheerful has always been the mantra.
 
I thought pessimism and abject negativity were the chief characteristics of what defines us as Blades fans. It's always been the case from my experience.
