My "honourary" 10 year old grandson, who I take to the home games (poor soul), when asked "which United player would he like to be like?" answered "David Kitson".
I then asked him why, is it because he scores goals?"
The anwer to that was "No it's because no matter how badly he plays, he always gets picked to start in the next match".

A true conversation during the Preston game.
I'm sure that kids have come out with other crackers. Share the ones that you know of.

Mrs BoSS and I took our 5 year old niece and her 7 year old brother to their first ever match at the Lane years ago. It was Gillingham at home in the first match of that particular season and we drew 0-0.

We were sat near the front of the JSS and Captain Blade came towards us and the young lad hid behind the seats.

Emma, my niece, was cool about it.

Anyway, the teams came out, warmed up, kicked off and after about 15 minutes, she said to me, "Uncle Chris, when are the football people coming out?"

:( :)

i once asked my youngest who van persie used to play for before man u. he wasnt sure so i thought i give him a bit of help saying, "arse".......his reply was "arsealona"?!! :)

Classic!

i also remember asking my eldest if he knew who Julius Ceasar was, "yes", he replied with a dead pan face, "he plays in goal for Brazil"......:)
