Blackman 7/10: On the end of much of the shit service Leeds sent into their non existent Number 9
Baldock 7/10: Good shift. Like Stevens though, needs to stay away from the yellow cards. Philips should have gone for his challenge on him
Basham 8/10: Great game. Really solid
Carter Vickers 7/10: Bit clumsy at times but their number 9 didn't get near the ball because of him
O'Connell: 7/10: Good overlaps but overcooks it sometimes. Otherwise he was good
Stevens: 7.5/10: At times he was ace but loses .5 for the daft challenges
Fleck: 8/10: Grafting performance
Coutts: 8.5: Solid as ever. Stop Press - he gave the ball away once!
Duffy: 9/10: Fucking awesome. Faded a bit after 60 minutes but he was great
Clarke: 8.5/10: Shame he never got a goal. Ran his socks off
Sharp: 8/10: Did most of the spadework and Leeds were doing their best to quash his threat. Shame about the 1 vs 1

Brooks: 8/10: What a fucking player
Lundstram: Not on long enough

Wilder: 10/10: 3 more points and TOTL

Ref: 4/10: Cock.

Crowd: Them - ha-ha-ha Us - ha-ha-ha

Their player: Shit: Their number 9 (and much of their team, in fact) Good: Saiz

What a win. Well done United.

Reminded me of Bolton with all the diving around the box.
Can you imagine watching a team that just cheats and plays for set pieces!?
It wasnt our best performance because it did turn into a bit of a scruffy derby game at times but we stood up to the test, stuck to our guns and and did what we always do...tell the footballing Gods to stick their draws up their arse!

I’ve never seen a United player as clever as Mark Duffy. It’s like he’s controlled by someone with a view 50ft above the pitch.

After 30 years of watching all sorts of United players I’m drinking every appearance of his in like a fine wine. It’s an absolute privilege to witness.

Basham just behind Clarke for MOTM for me. I thought he was outstanding again. This guy epitomises everything that’s good about Wilder’s team and no doubt he’ll be just as good and committed filling in for Fleck in midfied on Tuesday.

First name on the team sheet for me...wherever he plays.

Fleck and Coutts were waaaaaaaay off it tonight, both fabulous footballers but gave the ball away far too often. Not sure what game you were watching son!

Duffy on the other hand was magnificent as he has been all season.
Way off it, nah not for me, maybe not at their very best but they still played well enough (IMO), we wouldn’t have been so commanding if they weren’t.

I think Fleck and Coutts did what they always do - negated Leeds's midfield and took control. Okay, there were sloppy moments but let me give you Doyle and Hammond as replacements as a comparison.

Ref: 4/10: Cock.

This.

Didn't give us shit all, we got maybe 3 free kicks or so but every pass Billy received he got twatted from behind. That tackle on Baldock was about as obvious a red as you'll ever see, with both the ref and the linesman right next to it.

Coutts got flattened off the ball at one point and I don't think he even saw it and he carded half our team.

Hope we never get that fucker again.

Coutts and Fleck well off it tonight, Basham? It was his mistake that gave them the goal, Leon - immense, Duffy imense, Baldock and Stevens filled the gap left by Fleck and Coutt's off day. Jamal - could have done better, but still up there. Billy - was Billy, couldn't believe after he outsmarted them in the free kick he didn't put it away. First goal was class from Leon, amazing from Duffy and Billy at his best. It put the shits up their defence for the rest of the game. All round actually not our best performance, but we still did it - what does that say to you? If we can beat Leeds away and not at our best.............. and Brooks - well what a way to seal the new contract! CCV and O'C - held it together well, did the job needed.

I thought Leeds did their homework on both Fleck and particularly Coutts, pressing each of them high up and early, denying the space they thrive in.

Was the pitch a bit narrow, which also gave the perception of a lack of space ?

Slightly under the immaculate standards they have both set, but still a decent enough performance from both.
