Our last second season in the top flight

Now we're on 40 points I'm sure even the most pessimistic Blade accepts we will still be in the Premier League next season, our first second season in the top flight since the 1991-92 season.
That was one of my favourite seasons, we finished 9th, the highest finish I've seen (until now I hope). So many memorable games, the derby double, Mike 'Zico' Lake's wonder strikes (including the fantastic 5-2 win at Forest) and one of the great goals I've seen, Deane lobbing Grobbelaar from 35 yards. Familiarity doesn't necessarily mean the Premier League will become boring, provided we continue to entertain.

Didn't have a season ticket but went to loads of games that season. Grobbelaar had gone walkabout and Deano actually went round him before lobbing a chasing back Steve Nicol from 35 yards.

If I remember correctly the Forest 5-2 included a volley by John Gannon with his right foot !
