I feel a lot of the time that we play by numbers these days, which means that it is the same winning, drawing or losing during a game. Stick to the plan. Billy, Bash & Baldock are probably the only exceptions.

Watching Chelsea v Spurs, both managers fully wound up, crowd wound up, players right on the edge. I think Hecky & Co are great coaches, but we lack that red-zone reaction to a game. A manager like Conte, and it will always happen.

Not necessarily a criticism - because there are benefits from cold professionalism - merely an observation.

Football is Magic

Nobody* wants to see scenes like that at the end. Disgraceful.

I do - one of the best atmospheres at the Lane was when we beat Southampton in the League cup semi and Morgs got sent off for kicking off with Koeman.

If I want to watch cold professional skill I’d go to opera.

Yes I was being sarcastic.

It pisses me off that people complain about lack of atmosphere and passion, yet we have this 1950's pearl clutching when anyone kicks off.

I genuinely wanted a 5 on 5 bareknuckle at the end.

Heckingbottom often loses his shit. He lobbed a ball in Spence's chest in the play offs to wind Forest up.

Until Heckingbottom decapitates at least one opposition manager with a pizza cutter and then shits directly into the hole created by his severed head live on Sky, then one really has to question his character.

Over to you Paul...

Referee booked him for looking like a grown up toddler (see also Jimmy Carr, Michael McIntyre, Ole Gunnar Whats-his-name).

Just watched it. Tuchel always reminds me of a 45 year old bloke who still lives at home with his parents and is a bit of a Twitter and Facebook gobshite warrior. Wish Conte had chinned him.
