Have we ever had a January transfer window like this before? (we must have, but I can't remember it)

I have said in other threads that as a lad, my Grandad took me to see the TC/Woody era team, but this is by far my fave period of being a Blade.

This team of lads, the new lads, The Prince, Chris and Alan, the great atmosphere at BDTBL, the "no-fear" attitude we have when playing some of the biggest clubs in the world (players and us fans showing no fear), a feeling we can win, week in, week out.

Now with the latest crop of players, all youngsters, CWAK starting to put in place the players that will grow with the club and (hopefully) start cementing us as a team that belongs at the top table.

I was there on "THAT" Boxing Day, I was there vs Walsall , I have seen incredible lows following my beloved Blades, but nothing, and I mean nothing could prepare me for the highs I have witnessed these past 4 years.
Would anyone have believed after that lap of dishonour under mr Adkins, in your lifetime would you see the Blades smash their transfer record 3 or 4 times in the space of 6 months or or full internationals choose to commit to the Blades over established premier league and internationally famous teams?
What we are witnessing here is something far more incredible than the Man City transformation simply because, although we are spending, by our standards incredible amounts, still not really a patch on the likes of Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City etc.
The people involved, not just CWAK but all the back room staff and for once the boardroom should be given a heroes end to the season when we play the last home game no matter how this season ends.
Long may it continue.
