Do you have photos of Asline Road in the early 1970s? My dad used to park his car there for home games. What year were the houses on Asline Road pulled down?

The first building on the right is still there as part of JE James, everything else was demolished. The photo is dated Jun 75, so must have been after that.

Yes, I reckon the houses on Asline Rd (and those running off it, to make way for the park) were demolished around 1976-1977. Gypsy caravans were there when the houses were demolished then by '78 it was a park. The grass was uneven in regular spots - I'm convinced that was the result of ground soil settling into the cellars of the demolished houses!
