Open letter to Mr Blackwell

As much as I am disappointed with the current regime and desperately want a change of manager - I think that letter is a little harsh Olle. Admittedly I didnt go to Watford last night and from all accounts I accept that it sounded like a miserably poor performance, but I dont believe for a minute it is 100% KB's fault........

Yes he is seemingly out of his depth and is incapable of getting his team to play any sort of reasonably entertaining football, but can you honestly put it all down to him? His boss set on a complete numpty when we got relegated and gave the idiot a war chest that we couldnt afford to spend. As a result he is now penalising a manager that finds it hard enough to manage with good players. What chance does he have when his best players are taken from him? The whole club is moving in the wrong direction mate - from chairman, right down to the ticketing staff.

What about Blackpool? I want a refund as well.

You know Ollie as these last few days have gone on, I have developed a bit of sympathy for Blackwell. McCabe could sort it all out very quickly, if only he had an inkling what many fans thought about SUFC at the moment. I really am offended by the thought that McCabe has no idea of the general misery many feel when watching United at the moment. I know he'll look at the table and look at the crowds but there has to be more to it than that. I don't think McCabe has a clue.

PS - 'sympathy' because he is so out of his depth.

Hang on Lou - he's had millions to spend. McCabe has no idea what is going on in my opinion but he has given Blackwell plenty - it hasn't all been one way traffic on the player front.

What's the point of this post? Would you have the bottle to say any of it to Blackwell's face, I doubt it.

This sort of personal crap pisses me off, mate with stuff like that you're no better than the bloke at the back of the Kop near me ritually abuses fans, players, KB and everything else in foul language...yet disappears into the crowd when someone finally has enough stands up turns around and calls it on. Absolute garbage.

I sypathise with you. I didn't go to Watford, however, please don't send that letter.

In my opinion it makes you look a bit silly.

It's petty, patronising and not very well thought out. Apart from that it's perfect :-)

Please don't take offence.

You're right, it would have been arrogant of you to say that you speak for the majority of the fans! So why do you claim to? Just so you know, you don't speak for me.

The easy answer is NOT TO GO on Saturday v Derby County
I, for one having endured the dross last night will not be going on Saturday.
I will not be going there to boo I will not go full stop
If McCabe sees the attendance of 10,000 to 15,000 Then he and Mr Birch will probably take notice
Last night was a step too far!
Blackwell then comes out will the bollocks that he had to change the back four at the last minute Rubbish
He Knew about Kallio and Walker 24 hours previous
He is a liar We do not want him at the club
When McCabe sees it affecting gates perhaps he will act!!!

It fookin is....

To be perfectly honest, I think if you sent it, it'd more likely than not hit the bin long before Blackwell or McCabes desk.

It fookin is....

How can you justify that? Serious question, not a challenge I must add. The entire squad has been stripped off all its assets. I blame KB for a large part of what is going on but its silly to suggest our current fortunes are all down to him......

I dont want him as manager anymore either but other people at the club have questions to answer as well!

Someone didn't go to the game last night then.

This is a an open letter to Kevin Blackwell. What's so difficult to understand about that? Would yout l-i-k-e m-e t-o s-p-e-l-l t-h-i-n-g-s o-u-t c-l-e-a-r-e-r f-o-r y-o-u?

Could you please tell me where there is anything personal in there? I have neither abused Keith Blackwell personally nor have I abused any fans. To compare me to 'the block who abuses everyone on the kop' seems a little but silly to me.

Oh and why on earth would I not say this to Kevin Blackwells face? To make this assumption when you know absolutely nothing about me is also a wee bit silly. I'd love to express my views to him face to face.

Blackwell is the manager
If he doesn't like what is being dictated to him stand up and be counted. Clough did at Derby
But then again Blackwell doesn't have the balls
Rather collect his pay cheque every month!

Have you read the letter carefully? I do not say that I speak for the whole fans. I have chosen my words carefully Obi One.

Or perhaps he feels that doing this in the press would have an adverse effect on an already fragile situation? I know for a fact that Mr Blackwell hasn't simply had his belly tickled and rolled over, just because it isn't done in public, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

In choosing a few of them, you've pretty much ensured that the letter will very unlikely be acted upon or done anything with other than recycling.

"I think I speak for the majority of the fans when I say you are no longer wanted here".

<<I don't think you do and you certainly don't speak for me>>

"I am writing to you to suggest that you refunded my ticket"
"I have written down and my travel expenses"
"You’re tactics were appalling"
"F*** OFF"
"You’re man management"

<< If you really did choose your words carefully, I would suggest choosing some different ones before you think about sending this>>

If Blackwell genuinely feels aggreived Come out and say so!
Last night Blackwell and Co were paid to serve up that sh!t
We had to pay for the pleasure!!!

Is this the same Kevin Blackwell who wanted to walk away within minutes of the play-off final last May?
Was that an example of him putting the club before himself?

Yep, the very same one, only a bit more shouty and a different message more recently.

How do you expect me to tell someone who is not doing there job properly that they are not doing it properly without it being personal. I balme Blackwell for this and hence I use the words you and your. Ok there's one insult in their, but that is just emphasising I'd like him to leave the club and not come back.

Forget Writing
Just don't go on Saturday
Someone at Bramall Lane will get the message!

Either that, or completely re-word it and you'll quite possibly get a reply/phone call.

Unfortunately, what will happen is that we will pinch a 1-0 win on Saturday and everyone will be happy and smiley again.
There is something radically wrong at Bramall Lane and the sooner it is known the better!

no plan B just lump straight to HENDERSON take him out of side pass into feet with evans and camara up front and drop quinn but it will never happen under blackwell. Quinn and henderson always first on team sheet. Blackwell does not play good players only ones who work hard

I think that as soon as you start writing FUCk OFF in capital letters you lose all respect. Why you can't put over your feelings without resorting to brain dead swearing is beyond me. Up til then you were going well but if I was KB I would throw it in the bin

You could have done a bit better with that letter really, couldn't you? Doesn't go into that much depth about all the things that are wrong and is littered with spelling errors.

As if he's even sent it, the face he's posted it on the forum (oooh kudos to you) is laughable. I thought we'd had enough trumped-up self-importance with Brian the Blade on football heaven, didn't realise he was moonlighting on here as well.
