I remember going to an open day in 1973 (I think - might have been 1974) with my brothers and their friends. What a fabulous day that was! We managed to find Ian Ramsay's hut on the roof of the John Street Terrace and also phoned my dad up at home from a telephone in the Directors' Box.

Correct! He commented on my curly hair by saying, "You eat yer crusts, don't yer?" My brother was nudging me as we left the room, saying, "He's talking to you! Say something!" but I was having none of it. Crusts indeed!
