Make a note in your diary... Sunday 1st August has been set as the date for United's Open Day.

The annual pre-season event, which attracts thousands of supporters of all ages, is designed to whet the appetite ahead of another assault on the Championship.

The Club will again throw back Bramall Lane's doors to enable fans to watch a training session by Kevin Blackwell and his management staff and obtain autographs from the players.

"Over the years our Open Day has proved to be a popular experience," said United's Operations Director, Simon Argall. "We are currently planning for the 2010 event to be our biggest and best ever.

"Of course, the players, which will hopefully include the new signings that Kevin Blackwell will assemble over the summer, will be the biggest draw and once again there will be something to do for every Blades fan. There will be new kits on sale, plenty to see and do on our tours and we are currently working on securing a couple of special guests who could be present on the day."

"Admission is free, as usual, and there will be chances to win a whole host of United-related products."
Open Day is planned for Sunday 1st August - between 10am and 3pm - keep checking sufc.co.uk throughout the summer for more information."

A couple of special guests eh? ;) ;)

New kits on sale......We haven't even seen them yet, so that'll get shelved with them on sale sometime in November as usual!!!

:thumbup:Met the chuckle brothers in Torquay when taking the kids to their panto. When they asked what part of sheffield I came from I replied Intake. They both said "oooh the posh part" lol

Oooh, the new kit. Your chance to pay £40-ish now, or hang on to the end of the season and get one for ten quid. The away kit will be a lovely new one, totally different to the previous one, but I reckon the new home kit might just be red and white stripes, unless Macron get a bit giddy.

Anyhow, Mexican wave at 1.00 p.m. anybody?
