How many goals does Billy need to go past Lambert for most this century?

His record is phenominal along with ; the signings, the man-management, the coaching, the unique system, the motivation, the Bladeness, the list goes on.
The problem lies with keeping him, because if our owners can’t get enough of their toys back into their prams, he will definitely leave for another club. He won’t be pissed around but let’s enjoy the ride while it lasts.

I wish that counted for more than 21, but unfortunately not.

Last Billy hat-trick for the Blades? Aug. 16th 2008 at home v QPR (3mins, 13m, 51 m.) in The Championship.

...and Blackwell still substituted him. :(

Let’s all hope that it’s nearer to 10 days than 10 years for the next Billy trick ;)

Fortunately for us there aren’t many clubs that are in a better position than us would want him.

History shows that PL have the money and don’t need to take risks on untested managers.
Wilder has never managed a foreign player and never had to deal with big egos or big finished product talents.
Also PL clubs are more bothered about the here and now and not that bothered about building for the future.
So doubt a PL club would be interested unless they were really desperate.

It’s only the big clubs at Championship level that are the main danger, eg a Leeds, Villa or Sunderland etc and he would only go to those clubs on his terms. Their boards couldn’t mess him around.

Said all along the only way Chris will get the chance to manage in the PL only if it’s with us, it’s the same with Warnock too, great manager but only to a level and (like CW) Warnockd public persona isn’t sexy enough to attract any interest from PL clubs.

To be fair, Wilder also substituted Billy yesterday!

Was told the other day that since wilder joined United only some bloke called Pep has won more games in the four English leagues than some bloke called Chris.

This is not yet proven.

I know what it is you're saying, for a really big club to take a risk on him, from their point of view, it would be a gamble.

Wilder is still going up.

Warnock had been up and down already. As had basset for that matter.
