it appears from wilder interview that he and his team had identified players that we wanted. They may not have been his first choice, but they were players that he thought would be of benefit to the club.
Wilder points out that no one in the building could be blamed for not bringing the players in and that fault lays with other people in the football industry, ----- agents!
He could have gone out and bought other players and possibly paid excessive amounts and high wages to bring them across the line, but he chose to keep his powder dry.
We have lost a fortune by bringing in and paying excessive wages for Brayford and people have quite rightly complained, yet these same people are moaning that we gave not had out pants down by paying excessive amounts for players.
Leave it to Wilder, he has got value for money in the transfer market and will continue to do so, his interview infers that he was backed to bring players in, my concerns are subsequently not with the owners.
That may of course change but let's see how the next few weeks pan out, wilder is nothing if not honest!
Now move onto the month of September, one match stands out and for various reasons including getting value for money in the market for a balanced squad I would rather be a blade!
