The guy who asked me to get my dick out had me a little worried, and the minibus full of students who were all popping pills, including the driver who was driving like a maniac, that was very unnerving. There was a drunk driver who took me one junction around the Peterborough ring road - that was a relief to get out, and the traveller family with no seat belts in the car who I egged on to beat the fastest lift I'd ever travelled in at 121mph on the M40 - that was my own daft fault.
As for genuinely creepy characters, not really. One bloke told me he'd murdered someone once but I decided he was just trying to scare me into not trying anything similar myself, and the guy who said he was an armed robber by trade, I believed him, but the chap who showed me his ankle tag I really found intriguing, the first question I asked being, "What did you do?" (for the record, he drove the get-away car).
